My Trip to the Great State of Wyoming

About a year and a half ago my very best friend Lindsey moved to Wyoming to  go to Central Wyoming College. Well that didn't really work for her free spirit, she didn't so much like being caged in a classroom....Can't really say I blame her I hate it too, it's hard to focus and pay attention to teachers, professors, and presenters when there is a whole world waiting for you to conquer with whatever your dreams may be. Anyway she recently got married to the most wonderful guy in the world I could ever ask for her to marry. I wasn't able to attend their wedding due to my schooling :( Instead I went for a visit during my spring break and it was the most incredible trip I have ever taken!

Day 1: I flew into the Casper airport where Colton's dad picked me up and drove the two hours back to Riverton where they live, we went out to dinner with a friend and then hung out at the house the rest of the evening.

Day 2: Both Colton and Lindsey had to work so I got to hang out with Colton's parents and one of their friends roping and tagging calves pretty much all day okay well most of the day we left around 3 then I went and picked up lindsey's car and wondered around the little town of riverton  until she was off work. Then we hung out til Colton got off work and went out to dinner.

Day 3: We went snowmobiling in Jackson Hole. I have never been snowmobiling before and it was awesome!!! I want to go again sometime it was a great workout lots of laughs were had and great conversations it was an overall great but kinda long day.

Day 4: We went to the hotsprings with Colton's whole family for his little cousins birthdays we had tons of fun swimming, playing basketball, and sitting in the extremely hot hot tub. Then we headed over to his grandparents house for a BBQ type thing...it was to cold to sit outside...and ate cake. We definitely scored with gift that we picked out for the kids!

Day 5: sadly I had to leave Lindsey and I got up at about 5:30 and headed down the road to Casper in the snow...I was a little sad that the road didn't close so I had an excuse to stay longer haha

Conclusions from this trip: I absolutely LOVE Wyoming and I will be moving there in October when my job is over at Yellowstone!
