As we draw closer to the New Year I think that we are all forced to reflect on our past year. So today I will reflect on mine.
Year of 2012:
January: Started a new term at Oregon State why I went back after I new I didn't really like it after the first term and that it probably wasn't the right place for me who knows.
Feburary: I started to stay to myself and not wanting to be around any one any more because I hated school, hated pretty much everything.
March: End of Winter term slightly warmer, and I get a break from the awful school that I am going to. Butte Creek Scout Ranch Ride-a-thon and visiting my brother.
April: Back to school for the last term of the year and since it had started to warm up I felt much better but still hate the school.
May: A little glimps of hope I was almost done with school for the year. I also went to Jordan Valley and had a great time hanging out with people I hadn't seen for a long time and friends who hadn't seen for a while.
June: Finally done with school for the 2011-2012 school year then started my job with the school working in Conferences.
July: My Birthday month! I went saw my family and went to a Rodeo like I always do for my birthday. By the time July rolled around I was so done with my job, it was nothing like I expected it to be.
August: I was finally done with my job and it was time to have a summer and some fun, first was off to visit my parents, then to Tracy's where I had tons of fun visiting with her, while I was over there I also went and visited Brandie and Kyra my adorable little niece. Then over to my brother's to visit him and his family.
September: When September rolled around I was soooo not ready to go back to school and especially not when I had to be there only three weeks after I had just left from my summer job.
October: I started my job as a Campus Ambassador, and went over to see Hunter for his birthday.
November: I found out I was going to be an Aunt again YIPEE! Almost done with Fall term thank Goodness! Because I was sooo done!
December: Fall term was finally over I got to go on winter break but had to come back to work for a week over Christmas (BOOO) never doing that again! My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew came to visit. Also my sister got engaged! :D I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am for her.
Well it was a busy year for me and I think next year will be even busier. Stay tuned for a blog where I write all my goals that I want to accomplish in 2013!
This is my last year in college and have some very big decisions to make in the next couple of months as to where I am going to move to and what career path Im going to take. I write about what I am feeling sometimes and sometimes I will write about what I did on my days off or other experiences in life that are fun or can be learned from.

Lonely Week
This week I dropped my friend off at her parents house on Thursday and the next morning I left to come back to Corvallis and so far being here I have seen no residents and only heard mysterious sounds throughout the building that wouldn't come from residents...Although my sister and her boyfriend sprung me out for an afternoon to run some errands and they had dinner and watched the Hangover with me. It is very lonely and quiet, all I have done is made scarves and worked on a quilt top. I'm so very thankful that my family will be here in about 48 hours to spend Christmas with me but it is definitely different than any other year. One of my friends and I were talking today about how old we are (which I know is not very old) but compared to five years ago when we were still in high school and didn't really have a care in the world because our parents just took care of it made me riminess on memories from high school and started putting together my scrapbook.
Well that's it for now.
Well that's it for now.

Morning Coffee
Boy do I love coffee and that has been very prevalent this week, I have had a least one cup every morning these past couple of weeks before I do anything else. I know that a lot of people aren't coffee drinkers but I do recommend that every morning before you start doing anything else you sit down and drink a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. It gives you a time that you can just relax out of today's always moving society don't have anytime for yourself. Well here's some news for all you who never take anytime out of the day for yourself YOU NEED TO it is healthy for you to just take even 5 minutes to relax out of your busy day. If you don't drink any of the above mentioned at least do something for you where your just sitting or something that is relaxing and fun for you.

Holiday spirit
As I have been driving around this past week despite all that has been happening in our nation and the world people still seem to have holiday cheer and the hustle and bustle of this time of year never seems to stop I was listening to a song by Ali Dee the other day called The Worlds Gone Crazy and it brings a whole new meaning to the world we live into today and even when there have been several shootings people keep going on with their everyday lives and with what they were originally doing. Yesterday a good friend of mine and I were talking about our goals for the new year and it made me think back to a blog that I read from buckaroo Barbie about goals and I think what I'm going to do this week is make a list of all my goals for the next year that I want to accomplish and go over them at the end of every week. Hoping this will keep me a little bit more on track with my life and everything that I want to accomplish. Well
That's it for now until another day.
That's it for now until another day.

Sunday Wind Down
This weekend has been a great weekend...It started out by coming home from school for a couple of weeks on Friday, on Saturday one of my best friends Lindsey came to live with me for 2 weeks and we went to zoo lights with my nephews, sister and her boyfriend, then today we went to the ranch that we work at Christmas party which was great got to see everyone and catch up.
Another note I just finished reading Buckaroo Barbie's blog post from today which talked about struggles of being an artist and also how everyone should take a day to "re-charge" themselves from the last week and get ready for the week ahead of them. I really relate to this I need my Sundays or Saturdays and reflect on my week my highs and lows and also to think about all the things that I need to do the next week and what I need to better. You also need to do something just for yourself, something you like, whether that be relaxing or just plain fun.
Well that's it for now. Have a fantastic week!

Fall term Wrap Up
Well I'm finally done with my finals this term. Today begins the day where I start reflecting on what I did good this term, what I did bad, and what I need to improve on.
To start the good:
To start the good:
- Made some really awesome friends out of my roommates! Thanks to Haley, Catherine, and Emily for giving me a great roommate experience, way better than last year.
- Well that's really the only really good part of this term
The Bad:
- I had some horrible Professors, makes for not wanting to go to class
- Study habits went down the drain
- Calling my parents once a week to check in
- Study habits, I need to study more
- Do things for fun because I want to and to de-stress
Have a great day everyone!

Day Before Finals
Today is the day before my finals start and what am I doing...not studying nor have I really studied for any of my finals this term. Instead I have been relaxing and having a good time with my roomies, and today my sister and possibly her family is coming to visit me so again I'm pushing off studying until tonight, luckily my first final isn't until noon tomorrow but still I probably should be studying instead.
On the fun note everything you can do to relax before and after finals:
On the fun note everything you can do to relax before and after finals:
- Pick out an extremely funny movie grab some friends and bottle of really good wine and have a fantastic night laughing away
- Go out dancing or stay in and put on some really great dance music and dance your life away
- If you have sibilings go have a fun relaxing day and catch up if you haven't seen each other in a while
- Take the time to make your dinner instead of eating out or going to the dinning facilities (this always makes me feel better)
- Drink a glass of piping hot tea
- Work on a project that doesn't have anything to do with school (mine are quilting, making shirts, and hitching horse hair)
Well that's all I got for now...I would really love to hear what you do to relax.

Why I started blogging...
Hi,
My name is Beth and I started this blog after reading the blogs of Buckaroo Barbie and her sister's blog Buckaroo Girl. Everytime I sit down and read their blogs I am inspired to get up and do something with my life whether that be start exercising again, stay on track with my gluten-free diet, or something else that they are writing about. Anyways I thought it would be cool if I could do the same thing so, I'm trying it out and seeing where this takes me.
